UNSC Until The End was constructed in 2524, one year before the Human-Covenant War started, and captained by Derick Mercer. The ship served apart of the main UNSC fleet for one year until it was later redirected to defend Harvest when the Covenant first attacked. In late 2525 the frigate would be made the home of SPARTAN II recon/assault White Team until late 2552. During the war the Until The End would transport White Team to each of their missions as well as helping fight the Covenant forces in orbit of the planet they where at. Sometime during the middle of the Human-Covenant War the Until The End was outfitted with a prototype stealth ablative coating. The Until The End was one of the few frigates that was ordered to leave Reach early to follow Kyle into Slipspace.
