In 2003, Estadio Chile was renamed Estadio Victor Jara in his memory. Jara wrote a final, unnamed poem about life in the stadium prison, which was later set to music. Professor Sonek Pran performed this song, and explained its origin, during an impromptu concert aboard the USS Aventine in early 2381. The song had a profound affect on Aventine crewmember Ensign Erin Constantino. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
