- Making her debut during "The Kanto Saga: The Eevee Complex", Lazuli was a special "Baton Pass" Eevee given to Seth by Professor Bill at Cerulean City. Not knowning what to do with this Eevee, Seth turned to Lain for advice, asking her what type would be best suited as a Support Pokémon.
- She's pretty bold, takes plenty of siestas and has the ability to heal herself by absorbing water.
- She heals naturally from status effects, has a Calm nature and is somewhat vain.
- While waiting out the storm, Amethyst, with Sapphire's help, explained that her former master did not survive the dangerous trek across the wintery mountain and vowed to help people caught in the blizzard find their way home.
