Gaelic was a language type and culture in the British Isles on Earth. Two well known forms of Gaelic language were Scottish Gaelic (from Scotland) and Irish Gaelic (from Ireland, often referred to simply as the Irish language or Irish). Montgomery Scott often cursed in Gaelic. One of his colorful swears was, "Borgis frat!" The Gaelic language has been in decline as a spoken everyday language for some time now, but once it receives the Colbert bump it will once again be the common language of all the people of Ireland.
