- Tentacles could easily burrow through the ground and then burst upwards into the air to catch their prey. The 'body' of a tentacle was covered in a sickly green gnarled skin through which bony barbs poked through. Their extremities had a vampire-like claw made out of the same bony material as the barbs which they used to rake at their prey. Another tactic they used was to burst up as normal, then wrap their 'bodies' around the victim and both crush them and lacerate flesh with their barbs. They seemed to detect movement through the vibrations of their prey on the surface.
- He gets tricked by Mr. Ice and his gang of sharks into an iceberg throwing contest to see who can throw icebergs the farthest so that way Tentacles would throw an iceberg at the surface of the ocean so the Titanic would hit the iceberg so it will sink. Tentacles' friend Orci tries to stop him, but his warning is neglected and the Titanic starts to sink. When Tentacles finds out the truth why Mr. Ice wanted him to challenge him in throwing icebergs which was so that way the Titanic will sink he becomes upset of what he's done.

Ollie gets a fire axe and attempts to cut Norm loose, but the tentacles pull him outside before he can do so. David Drayton manages to kill two of the tentacles with the axe and the beast retreats, allowing Ollie to start up the generator and shut the door. The severed tentacles quickly decompose into an acidic, black liquid.
