The Monstrous is a special car on Ridge Racer 7 and Ridge Racer 6. It's manufacturer is unknown which adds an element of mystery to an already strange car. It is based on a heavily modified 80s Zil 4102 Limousine as when its incredible Nitrous system is activated, it takes up the back seats and boot. When the boost is applied the dials transform, the only car in the games to do so. You have to do a series of duels to earn this mystery machine. The car is very hard to beat, even if the player uses the Kamata Angelus or Soldat Crinale, both of which are statistically faster.

| - Paton Conners was an agent for the army of Thunderbolt Ross. He was one the best since Emil Blonskey. He and Thunderbolt Ross went out on a search to collect Bruce Banner's data on the Gamma Research. He sent Paton in as a Gamma researcher, and worked with Bruce Banner and Nathan Banner. Paton started right away to gather research about the Hulk and Oldstrong, when no one was looking. Weeks passed and they still didn't have the info they needed, and the reverse opearation was about to begin. After using a rat turning it into a hulk creature they used it to turn it back to normal. As the test was about to go through Linda Grimm enters the test room, and was about be turned into a She-Oldstrong. Willing to do anything to save her, Paton knocked her out of the room and was turn him into what he calls a monster. Pinning this on Ross he goes running off to take his revenge. With all the stress going on he turns him Oldstrong and goes after Monstrous. The two gamma creatures fought until Oldstrong was beaten into the ground. As Monstrous entered the area he was attack by a gamma creature called Gammabolt Ross. Monstrous was defeated and sent to an army jail.

Even though it isn't the fastest, it can be the most rewarding to drive.
