Gary Emmons (born December 30, 1963 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a former professional ice hockey centre who played for the San Jose Sharks NHL as well as several teams in the IHL. He played Tier II Junior "A" hockey for the Swift Current Broncos and the Prince Albert Raiders and then joined the Northern Michigan Wildcats from 1983 to 1987. The New York Rangers chose him in the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft but he never signed with them. He retired in 1997. In 1998-99 he was an assistant coach with the Kansas City Blades.

Emmons signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers in 1987 and spent the 1987-88 season with the Milwaukee Admirals and the Nova Scotia Oilers. He played in 1988-89 with the Canadian National Team and after that played almost all of his time in the International Hockey League. The San Jose Sharks gave him a three game look in 1993-94 and he scored a goal in his only NHL experience. He retired in 1997. In 1998-99 he was an assistant coach with the Kansas City Blades.
