| - Quinto Solus was a Jedi Knight in the last days of the Old Republic. Surviving Order 66 with the aid of two of his fellow Jedi, Quinto and Jem Crystooine began a journey to find the shattered remnants of the Jedi Order. Forming a militia with the Jedi he and Crystooine found, Solus decided that the only way to restore the Republic was to liberate the Galaxy's most famous symbol of political power - Coruscant. Following a disastrous attempt to take Coruscant from Imperial forces, Solus and the remaining members of the Militia retreated to Santose, where they remained in hiding until 15 ABY, when word reached them of a New Jedi Order being formed. Emerging from their enclave on Santose, they joined the fledgling Order to help guide it on the path to the splendor of the original Jedi Order. Solus soon found himself embroiled in Galactic incidents, including the Droid Wars, during which he served with distinction during the Cato Nui, Bastion, and Lok campaigns. During the later Great Jedi Schism, Solus was often partnered with Jem Crystooine and amnesiac Jedi Doktuar Gallif. During the Battle of Retyule, Solus was killed when his orbital drop pod malfunctioned and ejected Solus into the planet Retyule' troposphere. He fell to the ground and, despite using the Force to cushion his fall, was killed instantly upon impact. He was given a hero's funeral on his homeworld of Kuat. The ceremony received heavy coverage from the media, and was attended by nearly all the surviving members of the Jedi Militia.
