Koto Okubo [Japanese: 大久保 琴] (24 December 1897 – 12 January 2013) was a Japanese supercenterian who, when she died, was 115 years and 19 days old and was the oldest verified woman in the world and the second oldest person in the world behind the man Jiroemon Kimura who was eight months and five days older then her. She spent her last days in her nursing home in Kawasaki with the company of her son.
