Over the next decade, he would continue to prove himself a loyal and valuable soldier, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant in 40 A.E., and taking a leading role in his platoon. Jensen was present when Confederation first encountered the Swarm in 42 A.E., helping defend civilians in the town of Frallin.
