The Victoria Rebellion began on September 3rd 2502, when General Howard Graves had his rebel commandos, during a riot, fire on the CMA police trying to contain it. Soon after this incident, Graves, along with his lieutenants, captured vehicles, and commandos, fled to the forests, where they set up camp, and their base of operations. That was when the raids began. Whole UNSC convoys would be found, their escorts dead, and all their cargo missing, only to be found again, but in the hands of rebels instead.

  • The Victoria Rebellion began on September 3rd 2502, when General Howard Graves had his rebel commandos, during a riot, fire on the CMA police trying to contain it. Soon after this incident, Graves, along with his lieutenants, captured vehicles, and commandos, fled to the forests, where they set up camp, and their base of operations. The next few years were only filled with sporadic attacks, until about 2510, when rebel attacks flared up, coinciding with the influx of rebels, and the villages in the mountains that apparently supported the rebels suddenly becoming hostile to the UNSC troops that would pass by them. That was when the raids began. Whole UNSC convoys would be found, their escorts dead, and all their cargo missing, only to be found again, but in the hands of rebels instead. The rebels seemed invisible, as no one could find their base, until Graves decided he wanted to kill the vaunted Blue Team, as they had been stopping his operations that would have spread the rebellion. When the SPARTANs came to the base, they killed multiple commandos and militia, as well as stealing the nukes, and an M12 APC, leaving the base in ruins, and many men dead, including General Graves. Soon after this, the Covenant attacked the planet. Driving them off alongside the UNSC, this conflict seemed to repair the relations between the two, until an exaggerated report was delivered to General Hendrick, who then proceeded to lure the remaining UNSC into a trap, and kill them off. In 2560, the UNSC returned to the planet, in OPERATION: WHITE GLOVE, an anti insurgency operation, which lasted three years, until the rebels retreated to Venezia, becoming a part of the rebels there.
