Gene Goodreault (July 31, 1918 – July 13, 2010) was an American football player. He attended Boston College, where he played end. In 1940, he was named a consensus All-American. The Detroit Lions selected him 15th overall in the 1941 NFL Draft. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1982. He died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at age 91 in Orinda, California, after a long illness. [1]
