| - "Where do you hide, where do you live? How do you past unseen, girl?"
- "Show my guards your hiding places or lose some of your fingers. More than half a dozen."
- "So many thieves, all so small. Are you orphans? Where do you come from, child?"
- "We don't have no one place, m'[lord/lady], we got more than half a dozen. We've all got our holes in the straw."
- "Proper, my [lord/lady], we'd stripe their hides and send them away for little takings like this. Make an example of one or two, mayhaps."
- "Bring in the other thieves and I promise they won't be imprisoned or mutilated."
- "These children challenged my law. Beat the caught ones until the others appear."
- "This one's the leader of the thieves, my [lord/lady]." Ser Hugo looks embarrassed to be restraining a ten-year-old child. "We haven't caught 'em all yet."
- "Some are orphans, some done runned away, m'[lord/lady]. We never take all we can, not even half what we can. Always just a little."
- "You know what's to be done with thieves, Ser Hugo, do you not?"
