King Charles X of France, and I of New France (later Canada, Arkansas and Minnesota) (1813-1905) was the brother of King Louis XVIII et III and the last New-French king to live in Paris, after his grandfather's restoration and until the deposing of his father. Like his brother, he was born in Québec but grew up in Paris. He was the last pretender to the throne of France, renouncing the claim in 1872.
