  • Rabbi Chaim Walkin (born 1945) is a Haredi Rabbi and a Mashgiach ruchani. He currently serves as the [[Mashgiach ruchani]] of the Ateret Yisrael Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and previously served as the Mashgiach ruchani of Or Yisrael Yeshiva. Hr was born in Shanghai, China, towards the end of World War Two, after his family moved there together with Mir Yeshiva. In his youth, he and his family immigrated to the United States of America, where he was raised. He studied in Telz Yeshiva, and after his marriage in Mir Yeshiva under the Rabbi Chaim Leib Shmuelevitz, one of the most prominent rosh Yeshiva of his time, and was considered among his top students. He is the grandson of Rabbi Aharon Walkin, among the great poskim of Europe prior to World War Two, and the son of Rabbi Shmuel David Walkin.
