The Galore was the famed Luxury Liner of Lord Fagin, the Pirate King. The Galore was a massive ship, complete with a fully functional multiship docking bay, dozens of luxuriously appointed staterooms, a world class galley complete with 5-star-restaurant quality chef and staff, and a variety of entertainment facilities including a ballroom, bar and casino. At various points in its history, Lord Fagin opened the Galore to passengers, although one had to be exceedingly wealthy to book passage on this exclusive liner.

  • The Galore was the famed Luxury Liner of Lord Fagin, the Pirate King. The ship was patrolled by Fagin's Elite Guard, who maintained security and protected the Pirate King's private decks and stateroom, where Fagin himself often stayed. The ship also boasted a powerful weapons array, comparable to a Vanguard heavy cruiser during the mid-2600s, and was also rumored to house a few fighter craft. The Galore's weapons were on display when Leopold VanMahr, after discovering the true identity of the man calling himself Lord Fagin, launched a suicidal assault on the liner aboard his Smuggler's Guild ship, the Courser. The Galore quickly destroyed the little freighter, killing VanMahr, who was the only one aboard. When a group of renegades led by Orandius Jaxx penetrated Fagin's Tomin Kora palace, the Pirate King fled aboard the Galore, detonating hidden explosives that destroyed the palace. The Galore became Fagin's primary residence for some months after that, until John Falkenberg found him a site for his new palace on Odysseus. During this time the Galore remained in deep space, hiding in the Tomin Nebula to keep his lordship safe from his enemies. The Galore was also often used by Fagin's third majordomo, Grim, as a secure place to conduct his lordship's business. Grim frequently met with subordinates aboard the Galore, as well as with outsiders with whom his lordship had business. It was not uncommon for Grim to punish wayward employees by dumping them out of the Galore's airlock, allowing their bodies to float by the windows of the vessel's main restaurant, where other employees of Fagin's Riches would be waiting for their appointment with the majordomo. This was a very effective way of keeping people in line. His fondness for the Galore also led to Grim's original death. Orandius Jaxx and Snowmist Shadowstalker, posing as members of the Elite Guard, snuck aboard the Galore in 2651 and sabotaged the great ship before escaping themselves; however, Grim and several of Fagin's top operatives, including Captain Vassar, the commander of the Galore, and much of the Elite Guard were killed when the luxury liner exploded in a fireball.
