The EVE universe houses four playable races, broken down into three bloodlines. The bloodlines affect character appearance only, as all new characters start with identical stats and skills.

- In the universe as wast as Aetheon is, there inevietably would be many many of various species (here depicted as Races), majority of them with different variations of physical and psychical atributes, even also with minor or major body diferences (depicted as Bloodlines). Many are known, but as new systems with sometimes already evolved species still appears from hypercocoons, and many others were still unrevealed, there is constant need to explore and catalogize them. Every galaxy in Aetheon universe has its own set of species and their bloodlines, albeit some of them has spread (or been spread) to another galaxies. And there are also some species, which even have not their native galaxy at all - these are listed as Extragalactical. There are also some Superinteligencies, who do not fit
