The Kurosaki Family were a familiy of full blooded Quincies thousands of years ago. According to Shikyo, they took part in the Quincy Blood War, along with the Ishida Family and many other Quincy families. After the war, very few were left alive. Along with the Ishida Family, the Kurosaki Family were the two families with the fewest amount of Quincies left. Like other Quincy families, the Kurosaki Family took great pride in their entirely full blooded linneage, which only shamed them when Misaki Kurosaki, one of the few Kurosaki's left alive at that time, married Isshin Shiba, a Shinigami, causing her to be exiled.
