| - The Pliers were an item that appeared in Alone in the Dark 2.
- The Pliers are an obtainable item in Silent Hill. Harry Mason comes across a pair of them in a room connected to the classroom in Nowhere. Rusted and old, they serve no less than an important tool, allowing him to remove the Key of Ophiel from the bathroom faucet, in which it is lodged.
- The Pliers are a Blue Class weapon that appears in Manhunt 2. The pliers are in the levels Awakening (Wii), Red Light, Bees Honey Pot, Ritual Cleansing (PC), Broadcast Interrupted (Wii) and Domestic Disturbance. All of the Pliers executions are the exact same as the Flashlight in most versions, but in the PC version the executions retain their original brutal animations. They are a weapon used by The Red Kings.
- The Pliers is a cut cosmetic knife from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
- The pliers are an item in the game Trilby's Notes, which are found in the bar of the Clanbronwyn Hotel. Trilby describes them as "rusty but functional" when he retrieves them. On examining them he notes "flecks of blood dotting the jaws". Given the hotel's history in the World of Magick as a place of torture, it is likely this is what the pliers were used for.
- Pliers is the 10th episode of Season 1 in the remake version of the MacGyver.
- "Pliers" is the nickname of an ARC security guard. Her friends gave her that nickname, because she had a strange-looking scar on her face that was shaped like a pair of scissors. Along with several other security guards, she interrogated Connor. (Fire and Water).
- The Pliers is an item in Clock Tower and Clock Tower 3.
