Seven Dials is a junction of roads in the West End of London. In the center of the junction is a tower with six sundials, the pillar itself being the seventh. The junction was designed by Thomas Neale in the early 1690s, the idea was to maximize the number of houses that could be built in a small area. At one time it had become run down, but, today it is a bustling area of commerce.
