  • The Sewer Labyrinth in Silent Hill is a sewer that is difficult to navigate, located underneath a house on Rice Street in the Pleasant River area of Silent Hill: Downpour. The labyrinth serves as the location for a heart needed for the "Dead Man's Hand" sidequest. The corpse where Murphy Pendleton receives the sidequest is in the same house. Initially, when traversing the sewer, the player will encounter no enemies. However, once they pick up the heart, the enemies will spawn everywhere and immediately start to surround the player; at this time, the labyrinth, unquestionably, becomes the most dangerous area in the whole game with its heavy darkness, tight corridors, and prevalent monsters (Screamers, Weeping Bats, Prisoner Minions, and a few Dolls). It is vital at this point to escape the labyrinth before being overrun. The heart can then be returned to the corpse in the house to complete the sidequest.
