abstract	Sang Juntao was a Human male crime lord and former member of the Commission for Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR) of the Galactic Empire. Born into a loyal, pro-Palpatine family in 2 ABY on the Core planet of Axum, Juntao was forced by his parents to join COMPNOR in the time of the Imperial Remnant, though he barely knew what the New Order stood for. Juntao hated it, and in 22 ABY, when the planet of Axum fell to the New Republic, he ditched the rest of his COMPNOR unit during battle and fled on a refugee transport to Coruscant. Upon arrival on the capitol of Coruscant, twenty year old Juntao quickly established connections in the underlevels. He briefly worked as a Black Sun thug to earn some credits and make more connections, before starting his own small gang of followers. It eventually evolved into a large cartel that spread through the Core, becoming known as the Core Triad. It a roused the suspicion of the Coruscant Security Force (CSF), though they were unable to handle the situation as Juntao's power and influence grew. A break of operations against Juntao and his Triad occurred during the Yuuzhan Vong War, in which Juntao fought as a guerrilla fighter. Several Jedi were later assigned by Grand Master Luke Skywalker to help the CSF and newly formed Galactic Alliance Security in taking out Juntao and his organization. Following the Skirmish in Imperial City, he fled Coruscant and the Triad ultimately collapsed.
