Sinitta (born Sinitta Renay Malone in Seattle, Washington, U.S. on 19 October 1966) is a British-American singer who has lived in the United Kingdom for most of her life. She is the daughter of Canadian disco/Hi-NRG singer Miquel Brown and has a twin sister, Greta. She is best known for her hit records in the 1980s including "So Macho", "Toy Boy", "Cross My Broken Heart" and "Right Back Where We Started From". Altogether Sinitta has 14 international hit singles and 3 albums. She has also acted in a number of West End shows and has been a mentor on The X Factor and appeared as a contestant on the eleventh series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. Sinitta is filming The Jump in Austria, which sees contestants train and then compete in winter Olympic sports.

Her twin sister was adopted and raised by an aunt who could not have children. She spent the first six years of her life in a foster home, until her mother Miquel Brown was able to cope with a child.
