In addition to racing in NASCAR, he has also raced snowmobiles - although his passion truly lies in stock car racing. His primary series is the Craftsman Truck Series and he drives for the Haas CNC Racing team. During the 2007 season, he drove a Chevrolet Silverado for MRD Motorsports. Steve Genenbacher is his crew chief for his stay at the Haas CNC Racing team. Bjorklund was released from MRD in August 2007, only earning a best finish of 13th and being replaced by Chad McCumbee. Haas CNC then put him in a limited Busch Series schedule in anticipation of running the full 2008 Busch schedule. He finished 30th in his series debut, driving at California. Before his venture into NASCAR, Bjorklund raced in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, a proving ground for future stars of NASCAR. He made a run for Rookie of the Year with Country Joe Racing, a team well known for developing young and winning talents such as Joey Miller and Ryan Hemphill. Although he failed to qualify for the Nashville race, he bounced back with poles at Berlin and Milwaukee and earned his first career victory at Salem Speedway, passing ARCA legend Frank Kimmel with 2 laps to go. Bjorklund also earned the Bill France Triple Crown award for the three dirt tracks on the ARCA schedule. These, combined with his ROTY award earned him a development contract with Haas CNC in NASCAR.
