Advantage Points can be spent to upgrade a power to the next level (at the cost of two points) or spend on upgrading a powers other abilities for added effects, such as giving it an area of effect or healing abilities. (cost of giving a power Advantages varies) A Power can only ever have 5 Advantage Points spent on it, so if you wanted to spend two points on a level 1 Power to give it an area of effect damage ability, you could only spend 3 more points on it. You could upgrade it to level 2 for two more Advantage Points, but not to level 3 as it would cost two more points which would equate to six points total, one point over the maximum number of points you can spend on a power. Possible maxed out example builds- Option 1: Two Points to get to level 2 Two points to get to level 3 One point on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power Total- 5 Advantage Points (maxed) Option 2: Two points to get to level 2 Two points on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power One point on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power Total- 5 Advantage Points (Maxed) Option 3: Two points on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power Two points on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power One points on an advantage/ upgraded ability for the power Total- 5 Advantage Points (Maxed)
