  • Status: The USS Platte was a Federation runabout in service in the 2370s decade. Newly assigned to Deep Space 9 in the year 2371, it was stolen by former Bajoran Resistance member Pak Dorren, who inferred she intended to trade it for tritium on the black market. (DS9 - Invasion! novel: Time's Enemy) In December, 2377, following the destruction of the Ascendant invasion fleet over Bajor, the Platte and the USS Volga were sent to intercept the lone surviving Ascendant Raiq. Unfortunately, the Platte was destroyed, but with no loss of life having the vessel's occupants, Lieutenant commander Ro Laren and Ensign Jang Si Naran, beamed back to the station.
