In the episode, Hefty, Handy, and Lazy encountered the Molians in their quest to find the Smurfstone and were captured by them and brought before the assembly to see whether or not they are dragons. Two of the three tests by the Molians, to see if the Smurfs feel or smell like dragons, were passed successfully, but the Smurfs ran into the cave when the Molians were about to invoke the third test, to see if they taste like dragons. With the three Smurfs trapped in the cave with no way out except for climbing a very steep wall, Lazy decides to use very loud snoring to scare away the Molians, making them think there were a nest full of dragons.
