Estefan Gargost (August 14), (1967) is a Puerto Rican painter, poet, philanthropist, Noncommissioned Officer in the US Army, and a political commentator. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut; the oldest male son of Don Julio Garcia Arzuaga and Doña Pilar Agosto Marrero de Garcia. Shortly after his birth his family relocated back to Puerto Rico. His early life was spent in various towns of Puerto Rico, until his family settled in Toa Alta, where he lived until he was 14 years old. In 1982 his family relocated back to Waterbury, CT.
