(TNG video game: Future's Past) Captain Picard noted that this matter was very convenient and that the Enterprise had not fired on the Romulans, but Sarond claimed to be innocent in the matter. He was also outraged when Picard claimed that he was responsible for attacking the Vulcan archaeologist T'Lirus. Later, the Enterprise stumbled upon him again, en route to Oriens Alpha IV; Sarond claimed that he was there responding to a mysterious distress call. Only a little later, he hailed the Enterprise again to warn them about a mysterious hostile ship which abducted a Romulan research team. Picard realized that Sarond simply made excuses to enter the Federation space and demanded he lower shields as an act of good faith. Sarond did not take the risk and opened fire on the Enterprise (TNG video game: Echoes from the Past)
