- The only way (for non-Weaponsmiths) to identify what metal stuff is made of. It also provides a chance to automatically identify ingots and ore.
- metallurgy is a skill that allows players to convert metal ores into metal stocks and ingots. These metal stocks and ingots are required to craft items like weapons and armours. Different metals require different levels of metallurgy skill to be smelted into stocks and ingots. Training can be sought from smiths such as harnquist. To turn ores into stocks and ingots a furnace and a stock caster is required. these are usually located next to each other.
- Characters with this skill can recognise the ores of the more important metal (principally iron, copper, tin, lead, and silver) and can extract the metal from the ore, given the right equipment. They can also calculate the correct mixture of metals required to produce alloys of varying quality, such as mild steel, high and low grade bronze, pewter, and electrum. Note that this skill confers no ability to work the prepared metal - Smithing skill is required for that.
- There were many materials native to the world of Esria. They were around since the creation of the world. Discovered and refined by the smiths of old, many civilisations grew to appreciate the use of metals in many aspects of their life. In particular, the Humans found metals to be key to the growth of their early cities, using crude metal nails to fashion their structures. Eventually, these techniques evolved into the making of arms, armour and other luxuries. These metals can be found in a list below.

- In the mines near Quartz, a spot in the western side of the mine can be found where it says "the rocks look strange". Using Metallurgy in this spot reveals a vein of silver. By giving a character with a high strength a pick ax, one can mine unlimited amounts of cash if one is patient enough to repetitively USE->CHAR->ITEM->PICK AX->LOCATION.
- Metallurgy is a technology in Age of Empires that can be researched at the Storage Pit once the Iron Age is reached. Once researched, it increases infantry and cavalry attack by +3. It is also required to upgrade Heavy Cavalry to Cataphracts. Unlike the other technologies found in the Storage Pit, only a limited number of civilizations can research this Metallurgy.
- Metallurgy is a somewhat advanced technology in Civilization games.
- Major players:
* Maritech Enterprises (Aztechnology, Undersea Mining)
* Pemex (Aztechnology, Petroleum and resource mining)
* Unspecified German Corporations

- This skill enables you to collect Ore Fragments from the beach and near the river in Iria; you must be equipped with a Metallurgy Sieve in your right hand which can be purchased from general shops. Various ore fragments are available including Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, and Mythril, and they can be refined to ingots at Forge in town. This skill has an extremely low chance of discovering Gems whose types vary depending on the weather, time, and location. Gems, repositories of ancient knowledge, can be exchanged with a variety of experience points when they are given to Spirit Weapons. When given to villagers, they elicit various reactions and may be exchanged with gifts.
- Metallurgy was the science of the behaviors and properties of metals and their extraction from their ores. It studied the processes of producing objects made of metal, including quarrying, mine construction, and smelting. The Onderonian Shas Dovos, later known as the armored Dark Jedi "Warb Null", was a devoted metallurgist.
- Metallurgy is the science and technology of metals. In 2152, Trip Tucker claimed that the components of the Kreetassans' plasma injectors were metallurgically sound and dependable. (ENT: "A Night in Sickbay") Prixus, a science division Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D specialized in the fields of mineralogy and metallurgy. (TNG: "Pen Pals" ) In 2370, Admiral Erik Pressman provided Geordi La Forge with metallurgical and chromographic specs on the USS Pegasus in order to set up the proper search parameters for finding the starship. (TNG: "The Pegasus" )
- Metallurgy was first studied by Sivanius Sirius, who recorded the famous YouTube video of David killing Goliath. He had a small background in physics and knew that such a little stone thrown by such a little man couldn't have killed a giant. He found that David had a mental disorder that he termed metallurgy. He noted the symptoms of the disease in records later preserved at the Great Library of Alexandria. (These survived the Great Fire and can be studied in the Sivanius Reading Room).
