| - To begin, the user kneads Flare-themed chakra within the body and releases it in the form of a number of sparks; typically through exhaling through the nose or mouth. As opposed to typical sparks, such as those formed through the clashing of blades, these are deliberately smaller, dimmer, and are completely invisible to the naked eye whilst the sun shines. Only sensors or shinobi bearing eye techniques would be able to perceive the sparks during daylight hours, but they would appear no more than dust particles bearing the chakra of the user. This fact is one that has led many shinobi to assume nothing of the sparks and disregard them, until the ninjutsu's destructive power is revealed.

After being formed, the sparks are swiftly guided to the opponent, with the capacity of moving over a distance of three meters in a fraction of a second, and attempt to make contact with his or her eyes, hands, mouth, and legs. Upon contact, (or upon coming close enough to catch the target within the blast radius) powerful explosions erupt into being. The radius of each explosion, on average, is three meters; though committing additional chakra will augment the radius, temperature, and concussive forces within them. In addition, the average temperatures of the resulting explosions are high enough to evaporate lesser techniques of the water nature transformation, to result in third-degree burns on the part of the victim, and even evaporate the eyes and tongue should the sparks successfully meet their marks. Furthermore, the concussive forces released by the explosions are strong enough to uproot a male of average height and weight, and send hum hurtling back several meters. These forces can also break bones with relative ease and can cause extreme trauma to the skull and brain should the sparks make contact with the eyes and mouth. Additional damage to the body can come in the form of shrapnel, depending upon the location where the explosions take place.
