Raymew is the spirit partner of Kaia. He accompanies Kaia almost everywhere she goes, from his usual perch atop her shoulder. Raymew has been Kaia's spirit since she was four years old,and has proved to be not only a cuddly pet, but also a brave and loyal companion. He has the ability to fire magical beams from his forehead when neccessary as a means of protection. Raymew, unfortunately, had to go. It was his fate. But at least Kaia forgot about him enough to continue the journey. Raymew died on a holiday, and will live in our hearts forever.

He has the ability to fire magical beams from his forehead when neccessary as a means of protection. Raymew died while Kaia and Codi were exploring the Foggy Coast in attempt to help defend the village against an unknown menace. A carving was made of him by Codi to serve as a grave marker. At his "burial" Kaia swore she would never take on another spirit because of the pain caused when Raymew died, it has yet to be revealed whether she will uphold this promise. Raymew, unfortunately, had to go. It was his fate. But at least Kaia forgot about him enough to continue the journey. Raymew died on a holiday, and will live in our hearts forever.
