For a first time convention it was a great success attracting the most gamers a convention has had in the last five years in Sydney. A number of clubs and associations support the inaugral event such Sutekh (Sydney University Games Club), UNSW Gamers (University of NSW Games Club), SinCity LARP, [[Camarilla]Camarilla (fan club)] (Sydney Domain - Harbour of Darkness) and BGDA (Blacktown Games Day Association) who ran RPGA events. The main purpose of the convention is for role-players to play prepared games or events in 3-hour sessions. A variety of game genres are available, including regular table-top games (such as D&D) and ongoing campaigns (RPGA Living Campaigns), and free-forms (live-action games). Players generally play in teams of four to six, although there is room for smaller or larger groups, and free-forms generally run with at least fifteen. Other types of games will also be on offer, including board games, miniature wargames, and collectible card games.
