He dares not trust her with his true identity or purpose, but have found themselves tracking priestess movements without apparent reason.
  • As revealed in the third tale of this book, Geraint had a talent for poetic storytelling, for charismatic performance, sincere expression of heartfelt emotion, and a little sleight-of-hand. With genuine pledges of love and devotion, he won the heart of fair Angharad. When Grimgower and Gildas -- two wizards who had come seeking the princess's hand -- derided Geraint as a fraud, Angharad defended him, calling him "the only true enchanter". The two eloped against the wishes of her mother, Queen Regat.

  • While maintaining his cover has Geraint has dismayed to find himself developing fascination Jessine despite his abhorrence of Selket and her followers. He and his Matthis host find their devotion to help their patients and as well as victims of Selkets regime admirable and they have also noted that she often seems to be unhappy during the more brutal drug "tests." He dares not trust her with his true identity or purpose, but have found themselves tracking priestess movements without apparent reason. Matthis family was killed by Kali in one of the "mock war" that took place between the System Lords and the Tok'ra he went and became Geraints host to strike a blow at the Goa'uld. But his past life as a scientist has made his new career as a secret agent extremely difficult. A more experienced Tok'ra is performed just before his arrival in Selkets court which has left him with no one to trust than its symbiote. They have grown extremely dependent on each other without any contact with no one aware of their real identities for over two years. Geraints usual duties take him into the less patrolled areas of the capital, and he has set up a relay of information through the local underworld that thrives on bootleg medical supplies and intoxicants. As alleged Goa'uld he is usually safe from aggression in Ashrak and for four of the five festival of life and death, he is legally immune from being targeted . He uses these advantages to get as much information out to his fellow Tok'ra as he can. (RPG: "First Steps: The Stargate Unexplored Worlds Roleplaying Sourcebook")
File:Red-elise.jpg Geraint and Angharad fled Caer Colur, evading by virtue of their bond of love the enchantments of the jilted wizards. The language of their escape is so poetic -- as flowers bloomed in the lovers' snowy footprints -- that afterward it seems they must have shared a sweet and tender romance. Whatever happiness they might have enjoyed, it was not to last. While Geraint's final fate remains unknown, we do know from the text of Taran Wanderer that he perished prior to Angharad's death. She died pitifully under Morda's skeletal hand, but Geraint himself may have run afoul of Achren; for the tale of Angharad's passing, during her desperate search for her kidnapped daughter, is tied up with that evil sorceress. Did Achren slay Geraint, or somehow bring about his death in order to abscond with young Eilonwy? These matters are hinted at but never fully revealed. For that matter, Eilonwy's paternity is never disclosed as such in any of Lloyd Alexander's writings. However, we may reasonably conclude that Geraint was the father of the last Princess of Llyr; he was married to her mother Angharad, after all, and his non-enchanter origins are probably responsible for Eilonwy referring to herself as "half an enchantress".

Erec is famed for never lying and never failing on any promise he has made. After the death of his his wife, Prince Geraint spent much time at King Arthur's Court, seeking adventure. It was during this period that he encountered the Sparrow Hawk Knight and came to marry Lady Enid of Cardiff. Sir Geraint restored Sir Yniol all of his possessions and then married his beautiful daughter, Lady Enid. Later Geraint heard Enid bewailing his sloth as a knight; he was stung with shame and mistakenly believed Enid to be unfaithful to him. He took her on a journey through a series of trials until she convinced him of her constancy. They returned and lived in happiness for the remainder of their lives. Geraint is eventually slain by Gawain. Erec is mentioned in many other romances, and is prominent in the Post-Vulgate Arthurian Cycle in which he has many adventures. He is featured in two poems in Alfred, Lord Tennyson's Idylls of the King.

• Sir Geraint was a Knight of Camelot who fought the Living Gargoyles when Cornelius Sigan returned. He was also Arthur's former second-in-command.
  • Geraint was the leader of a group of mans living on the Tin Isle who made contact with Cheiron when the latter led a group of centaurs on an expedition to reestablish the tin trade between the Tin Isle and the centaurs' homeland. Cheiron found Geraint very intimidating based on his obvious physical superiority to centaurs and every other sentient species with which Cheiron was familiar except the gods. He was further intimidated by many of the answers Geraint gave to his questions. For instance, Geraint told Cheiron that the mans had built Stonehenge not to please their gods but to obtain knowledge of the universe for themselves through scientific inquiry, a desire unseen in other mortal species. And when Cheiron demanded that the mans stop slaughtering the Nuggies, Geraint assured him that the mans were doing no such thing, but that the Nuggies, upon making contact with mans, had all begun dying of shame. Though centaurs were much stronger-willed than Nuggies, Cheiron was able to understand how the presence of Geraint's people could instill such feelings of self-loathing. Despite feeling inferior, Cheiron was able to negotiate a trade agreement with Geraint whereby the tin trade would resume. Geraint then invited the centaurs to join the mans for a feast to celebrate their new partnership. Geraint served the centaurs cerevisia, a beverage with which the centaurs were unfamiliar and which they did not know contained alcohol. The centaurs became intoxicated, to disastrous effect. Geraint set man warriors in pursuit of the centaurs, who fled back to the Inner Sea and barely escaped Geraint's wrath with their lives.
