Large TNT is an explosive that you will have to place and activate in the world to make it detonate and do damage on / destroy the surrounding. You can do so by dragging (a stack of) Large TNT into your quickbar (as with all explosives) and then put one of them on the ground with right-click. Then right-click directly on the bomb again to activate it - and quickly back away. Large TNT cannot be found in Treasure Chests nor be obtained from any creature currently (as of R28 in January 2016). To craft 4 bombs of Large TNT at once, you'll need (as of R28 in January 2016):

You can also use Tar (highly flammable) or Shredded Leaves (very well flammable) lined up as a "fuse" to make TNT-bombs detonate from a distance - by igniting the end of the fuse with a torch. Mind that Shredded Leaves might not burn well in cold environments, while Tar will. Placing the torch under the fuse will work best. If you should decide that you do not want to make this bomb detonate after placing it after all, you can just pick it up again ("pull") by using left-click on the explosive instead of right-click which would activate it. To pull large TNT, no Power Cell needs to be equipped. Large TNT cannot be found in Treasure Chests nor be obtained from any creature currently (as of R28 in January 2016). This explosive can be crafted in your Crafting Menu (opened with "q"), but only after the crafting-recipe for Large TNT has been unlocked by obtaining basic TNT. The crafting-recipe for TNT is unlocked by taking Gunpowder. To craft 4 bombs of Large TNT at once, you'll need (as of R28 in January 2016): * 14 (blocks of) Stone mined from Caves, Mountains or the Fossil layer underground close to the surface, which requires at least a Wood Mining Cell * 4x Gunpowder, found in Wood Treasure Chests, looted or pet-harvested from Hot Feet * 4 Globs of Goo made from Mold in a Processor or looted/harvested from many creatures including Pigsies
