The L100 Python AP is the specialized Anti-Vehicle version of the L100 Python series of turrets for the Nanite Systems Lightning tank. The Armor Penetrating (AP) shells that it fires have a smaller blast radius than the HEAT version of the turret, requiring almost direct hits to damage infantry. It has the same reload speed as the L100 Python HEAT and approximately 10% faster reload speed than the L100 Python HE.   • The L100 Python AP is the specialized Anti-Vehicle version of the L100 Python series of turrets for the Nanite Systems Lightning tank. The Armor Penetrating (AP) shells that it fires have a smaller blast radius than the HEAT version of the turret, requiring almost direct hits to damage infantry. The AP turret does the most damage to armor of the L100 Python turret range. In addition, since the GU08 patch the L100 Python AP turret has an armor mitigation bonus designed to improve it's Anti-Vehicle performance versus the HEAT variant. Currently this armor mitigation bonus only applies to shots hitting MBTs or Lightnings. It has the same reload speed as the L100 Python HEAT and approximately 10% faster reload speed than the L100 Python HE. All L100 Python turrets share a much flatter shell trajectory than compared to the default C75 Viper turret.
