| - The Trust is an interplanetary terrorist group based on Earth, composed of rogue ex-NID operatives and ex-Committee members and later Goa'ulds who took control of numerous Trust operatives after the downfall of the Goa'uld Empire, giving the Goa'uld a stronghold and also granting them knowledge about the inner workings of the various governments of the major countries of Earth. The Trust are considered personal enemies of both the SGC and the NID due to the fact that the Trust and its agency operate outside the rules and are also willing to do anything in their power to stop any possible foes from attacking Earth with agents of the Trust even believing that they have the utter right to use anything which they will believe is essential to protect and defend Earth at all costs with the Trust agents themselves often showing little or even no concern for the amount of innocent lives that will be lost as a result of their actions.
- Although it was believed to be destroyed for good many times, the Trust was finally dissolved once and for all when its final member was brought to justice by Danielle Talbot and SG-1.

- The Trust is a national, non-military organization charged with the safety and security of Zilargo and its people. Although the gnomes allied with each other, this did not stop the feuds between the gnomes were having with each other. The feuds started to create problems for the new nation of Zilargo. So the Trust was created in order to keep the nation together. Each Triumvir was given the power to select agents from their own city to create a corps of secret police. These secret police place the interests of the nation above all else. The Trust soon got all control of law enforcement and national security. The Trust is the one that punishes the guilty, and its justice is swift and merciless. There is no court of law. Any Zil citizen could be an agent of the Trust and, thanks to that, Zilargo has the lowest crime rate on Khorvaire. The Trust acts only if something threatens society and they use blackmail and intrigue to destroy the threats.
- After the Pact was created between Prometheus and Adams, the Trust used Prometheus' DNA to create The Drudge. They would then begin to plan on as to how they could get John Adams to become the ruler of Earth and defeat Tiamat. They also had access to the ASE and used it and the Destroyer Armor to create the equipment of the Trust. They would then start planning Adam's ascent into the "Dictator of the Earth" unknown of Prometheus' plan to find a suitable Destroyer to give the ASE.
