Insomniac Games keep mentioning it in their games for some stupid reason. The Obliterator can cut through it easy though- dun dun duuuuuunn! In Ratchet: Madlocked, DreadZone made some crappy guns that can cut through Carbonox armour but how the hell they done it noone knows. One was their missile launcher that apparently can.

They say it absorbs 90% of damage in Ratchet & Clank: Goin' CS which is the most any armour in the blasted series absorbs except for the pirate copy game Ratchet & Clank: Size Does Matter which contains illegal armour which can but how they manage that no one knows.
