I have had a variety of people offer to nominate me over the last two months, however, I prefer self-nominations, because then I get to say what I want to, and answer the questions right away. Over the last three months, I have noticed that having sysop tools would be beneficial, for both my speed and effectiveness in dealing with things like vandalism, file moves, Yew Grove thread archiving, closing RfDs, and general maintenance tasks that require either access to the MediaWiki files or to sysop tools.

Over the last three months, I have noticed that having sysop tools would be beneficial, for both my speed and effectiveness in dealing with things like vandalism, file moves, Yew Grove thread archiving, closing RfDs, and general maintenance tasks that require either access to the MediaWiki files or to sysop tools. I was very hesitant in filing this request, because in my opinion the RuneScape Wiki has enough semi-active admins. However, since I do have a need for the tools, and would be very active in my use of them, I have decided to file this request. Some, if not most of you will know that I do have extensive admin experience on other wikis. I know how to use the tools, and know the role of an administrator in general and in specific areas. I don't want to make this seem like bragging, however, I do think that it is pertinent to give you some indication of how I use the sysop tools, and what I tend to do on other wikis. If you wish, please see my contributions on Brickipedia, the FarmVille Wiki and Wikianswers. A link to my log actions can be accessed from those pages, and feel free to ask any questions that you may have about what I do on other wikis. You will notice that I am not very active on any of them right now. This is because I am very busy in real life, and am devoting most of my time to the RuneScape Wiki; something which I will continue to do until my life eases up a bit. If this request fails, oh well. I can see why it might. I'll live, and still edit here as much as I do now. However, I think that the RuneScape Wiki would benefit from me having access to sysop tools. Please ask additional questions if I'm missing anything. I, Ajraddatz, accept this nomination for adminship. I have read the policies concerning administrators. I realise that this nomination may fail. If I do get community consensus, I promise not to abuse my powers because I realise that this is a serious offence and if the community finds that I have done so, my powers will be revoked and in extreme cases I could be given a community block.
