Bio-Man was a television pilot for an American adaptation of the Super Sentai series, Choudenshi Bioman, produced by Haim Saban in 1986. Although it didn't result in a series, Saban would later successfully adapt the 16th installment of Super Sentai, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger in 1993, starting the Power Rangers franchise.

Although it didn't result in a series, Saban would later successfully adapt the 16th installment of Super Sentai, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger in 1993, starting the Power Rangers franchise. Though most claim that Bio-Man was a new Americanized dub, there are also claims that Bio-Man was an adaptation, much like Power Rangers. However, with the reveal of a promotional folder for the show and photos of the five actors weren't the actors from Choudenshi Bioman confirms a Power Rangers-like adaptation.
