| - Lowell Harland, Jr. is a mechanic at Teller-Morrow. A second-generation mechanic, Lowell Jr. is the son of the late Lowell Harland, Sr., a former mechanic at the same garage. Lowell, Jr., followed in his father's footsteps in two respects, having found a place at the garage and becoming involved with drugs in his life. Lowell Jr.'s drug of choice seems to be crank. While Lowell Jr. is not a member of the MC, he is a good friend of the club and, as Clay mentions in Old Bones, often overhears club secrets at the garage.

In Old Bones, Lowell Jr. learns that his father did not disappear: he died, or more was killed and buried with the bodies of Mayans. Lowell had believed that his father simply abandoned the family, and was heartbroken upon learning the truth. When his father's body was pulled out of the hole on 44 and identified, Lowell Jr. was called into the station where Hale and June Stahl spun doubt in Lowell's head over Clay's story. After hearing Hale and Stahl's bit at the station, Lowell Jr. went to Lodi to score some crank, leaving Moby home alone (where he was found by Neeta, who informed Clay). Clay, worried he might give information about the club to the ATF, found Lowell in a Lodi motel where he told Lowell the "truth" about Lowell's father; about how he killed him for being a rat and an abusive husband and father. Clay had planned to kill Lowell, but decided against this at the last minute. Instead, Clay brought Lowell back from Lodi in the back of the van, telling Tig that Lowell was a "good mechanic". It is assumed that Lowell received rehabilitation treatment the "SAMCRO way" upon returning to Charming. In the penultimate episode of Season 1, Lowell was seen clean and sober at Abel's welcome home party. Lowell was present in the Season 1 finale when he appears at Donna Winston's funeral, attended by SAMCRO, the Winston family, and Sons of Anarchy from other charters (likely on the West Coast). This was his last appearance in the series. It can be assumed that he continued to work for Clay after his rehabilitation.
