Batin (pronounced bah-tin) is a region that appears in the Generation XI games Pokémon Infrared and Ultraviolet, and their sequel Pokémon Gamma Ray. Batin is possibly the largest region to date in any Pokémon game, and it is located to the immediate south of Kanto and Johto, and to the east of Hoenn. There are a few new Pokémon in this region. Batin's regional professor, Professor Cycad, hands out the Kalos starter Pokémon to new trainers; Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie. Later on, you can get a new Fakemon starter.
