In the Season Two episode, "Partners of the Month", Jonathan Levy is in the middle of revising his will when he is murdered. His body is found slumped at his computer desk. When Det. Nick Knight and his partner, Don Schanke investigate the death, they discover that the contents of the will are critical to the case. It seems probable that either Levy's wife or his lover killed him, presumably because he intended to alter his will to favour the other. But was he about to leave his wife? Or was he about to renounce the affair? Because he was murdered midway through making revisions, the will itself cannot answer the question.
