  • Edward Ronan (born March 21, 1968 in Quincy, Massachusetts) is a former professional hockey right winger who played from 1991-1998. He played in the NHL for the Montreal Canadiens, Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres. He won the Stanley Cup in 1993 with Montreal. Ronan was chosen 227th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. However, he went to Boston University rather than turn pro. After graduating in 1991 he turned pro with the Canadiens and the Fredericton Canadiens. In 1992-93 he won the Stanley Cup. But an injury in 1994 hampered his career and caused him to miss most of two seasons. The Winnipeg Jets signed him as a free agent in 1995-96 but he only played 17 games for the Jets that season. The following year he went to the Buffalo Sabres and only played in 18 games. Ronan retired in 1998. In 182 NHL games he scored 13 goals and 23 assists.
