The 1966–67 Division 2 season was the second tier of ice hockey in Sweden for 1966–67. The league consisted of 90 teams, divided into eight geographical groups of 10 or 12 teams apiece. The eight group winners continued to a promotion qualifier, which resulted in Stromsbrö IF, Tegs SK, Tingsyrds AIF, and Färjestads BK being promoted to Division 1 for the 1967–68 season.
