Ko'zal silk is a type of protein fibre used in Protoss clothing. It is made from leftover cocoons of Ko'zal worms. Due to the difficultly in its formation, the silk is mainly used in creating ceremonial robes. Treated with psionic energies, the silk has a tensile strength comparable to Paristeel alloys (Batman Begins: Memory cloth cape). While not suited for combat, clothing made of the silk can withstand several forms of wear and tear to a point.
