This civilization existed in the Kijuju region of West Africa. Its capital was hidden underground, where its people worshipped and protected the flower, Stairway of the Sun. The secret garden was called the "Sun Garden", which resided in the deepest area of the royal city. The role as leader of the tribe was not given by birthright, but rather by consuming a Stairway of the Sun flower and survived. This was told to bring great strength - in reality, this flower contained the Progenitor virus.

| - This civilization existed in the Kijuju region of West Africa. The Ndipaya also built many self-defense mechanisms, such as mirrors that reflect the power of the sun, allowing the sunlight to be channelized into devastatingly-concentrated laser-like beams of energy. They also built three puzzles using these mirrors; there have been other traps as well, for corpses were present around the ruins impaled by multiple spears. For unknown reasons, the tribe abandoned their underground sanctuary, but vowed to protect it. Young men would spend two years each guarding the Kingdom from outsiders. Outsiders did, however, infiltrate the Kingdom. The Ndipaya were driven out from their holy lands by Umbrella after discovering that their sacred flower could be used to develop the Progenitor virus. The Ndipaya attempted to defend it, but were unable to overcome the technological disadvantage.
