(Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Asteroid Dusting") MD-11s could be outfitted with under-the-barrel bayonets that could be as long as 406 mm. In addition, it became the standard sniper rifle for Starfleet units stationed near the Lyran border, and especially Prime Teams.
