Isolated Island is the tutorial stage in Knuckles' Chaotix. It is simply a starter area with no Badniks, hazards or bosses, allowing the player to practice the new gameplay feature introduced in the game. In the Scenario Quest, the player goes through the 5-Level Introduction place, whereas the player can enter the 4-Level Training place outside the main game.

- Having once been part of an operation conducted by Dr. Eggman, many Badniks were abandoned on the island until Ellidy reprogrammed them to be his attendants. The island was also found to be home to a Lake of Rings, which went curiously dormant during the Shattered World Crisis prior to producing a Red Star Ring. Dark Gaia's Minions attacked it as well, but were kept at bay by Ellidy's Badniks until Phage took control of them. She did so in part because she detected a Chaos Emerald present on the island, and sought to claim it for Eggman. Fortunately, several members of the Knothole Freedom Fighters had arrived on the island previously to investigate Phage's initial attack on Dr. Ellidy. (VG: KC, SU: #71, #72, #73)
