- Kyoto is the historical city in Japan. In 794 the emperor decided Kyoto as the capital in Japan, it had become the center of Japanese politics and culture, which was called Haankyo at that time, and it keeping is politics, and be a center of culture over 1000 years.

- In 1946, while on the highway from Tokyo to Kyoto, a formation of four Japanese tanks escorting an automobile carrying Emperor Hirohito were attacked by a flight of Hellcats. The aircraft ripple fired rockets and machine guns, destroying the auto and three of the tanks. The crew of the fourth tank immediately abandoned their vehicle and attempted to rescue Hirohito but were killed by troops led by Sgt. Mike Sullivan. Sullivan discovered Hirohito was dead from two .50 caliber machine gun bullets to the chest. He informed higher ups who informed the Japanese which eventually led to Japan's surrender.

- Kyoto (Japanese: 京 Kyoto) is a Pokémon Trainer and Poké Ball Smith who lived in Saimashi. He is one of the Main Protagonists of Lost Chronicles. His starter Pokémon is an Abra, that he received from an egg from his parents on his 6th birthday. He studied in the art of creating Poké Balls from his parents from a very young age. A master at creating Poké Balls, that many people referred to him as a prodigy at a young age. Due to his love of creating Poké Balls, he created his own custom Poké Ball that is very reflective, resembling that of a blue crystal. Due to being a Poké Ball Smith, he never goes to a Poké Mart to buy any, but rather, supply a Poké Mart with free Poké Balls if he sees they have run out of any.

The castle will be destroyed, and all of the soldiers will be killed off in the first few seconds of the game.
